    ParkSafe is built with your privacy in mind. We do not collect, store or sell your personal data. Your location is used only on your device to show nearby street cleaning information.

ParkSafe is developed and operated by Rambit LLC. We build tools to help drivers avoid parking tickets by tracking street cleaning schedules in cities worldwide.

2. Information We Collect

ParkSafe collects no personal information. Specifically:

Location data — Used only on your device to show nearby streets and send relevant alerts. Your location is never sent to our servers or shared with third parties.
No account required — ParkSafe does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information.
No analytics — We do not use third-party analytics tools that track your behavior.
No advertising — ParkSafe contains no ads and no advertising SDKs.

3. How We Use Your Location

When you grant location permission, ParkSafe uses your device's GPS to:

Show your position on the map relative to nearby streets
Automatically detect which street you may be parked on
Send you timely alerts before street cleaning begins near you

This processing happens entirely on your device. Your coordinates are never transmitted to any server.

4. Notifications

If you grant notification permission, ParkSafe will send you local alerts when street cleaning is approaching on streets you have saved. These notifications are generated on-device and do not involve any external service.

5. Street Cleaning Data

ParkSafe retrieves publicly available street cleaning schedule data from city open data portals (such as SF Open Data). This data is cached locally on your device for offline use. No personal information is associated with these requests.

6. Data Sharing

We do not share any data with third parties because we do not collect any data in the first place.

7. Data Retention

Since ParkSafe does not collect personal data, there is nothing to retain or delete. All app data (cached schedules, saved streets, preferences) is stored locally on your device and can be removed by deleting the app.

8. Children's Privacy

ParkSafe does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app contains no features directed at children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of ParkSafe after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
